Judith Hill was born in Roachville, N.B. and attended school in
Long Creek and Fredericton, graduating from Coles Island High School.
Always interested in history, many of her writings contain
historical reference to present life. She wrote this book to share her love of
Grand Manan Island with her readers.
Some previous writings have involved editing the Coast Guard
Newsletter, assisting with the publication of More Than Just a Cookbook,
and writing articles for publication in The Atlantic Advocate, The Citizen,
Kings County Record, Northeast Riding, BMW Magazine, Travel
New Brunswick, and other smaller foreign publications.
